OUR STORY.

The Wild Life unapologetically cooks up original music, the ingredients of which lead to an Americana sound with a cross-pollination of Rock, Pop, Folk, and Country.

A blend of new and nostalgic, we are a mosaic of five artists who found each other in Westchester County, NY. Our band is comprised of Nicole Alifante, Kerry Hopwood, Miles East, Neil Herman, and Adrienne Lloyd. Our musical family brings multifaceted talents to the table while creating a cohesive, uplifting sound covered in smooooth three-part harmony that grabs hearts and souls!

You’ll dance, you’ll smile, you’ll cry with joy and you’ll wonder, where have they been?
But what does it matter? You found us!

Nicole Alifante

Nicole started on the kitchen table singing Streisand tunes at two years old. She wrote her first song at nine years old. She was produced as a solo recording artist by Sam Hollander but wasn’t wise enough to stay the course because she wanted to be an actor. She was a featured background singer on many albums over the years. Nicole headed into Fordham University at Lincoln Center and majored in theater, became a professional actor then left show business when she had a family. She lost her way so she conjured her nine year old self and started writing songs and forming bands in Westchester County. She wrote 100 songs, a musical, MAYFLOWER AVENUE, currently in a semi-finalist position for a potential prestigious musical theater workshop and she is now making original music and gigging with The Wild Life. She founded a nonprofit that tackles social justice issues and resides in Westchester with her husband, son and dog, Chet Baker.

She toured with her band in New York City and the Westchester circuit until she took time off to start her family. Kerry has since worked at the Bronxville School in musical theater where she was the musical director for the after-school enrichment program for many years. As well, she worked at the Bronxville School in the Special Education department, sharing her musical talents with children with special needs. She currently runs a thriving music school in her home studio in Fleetwood, NY.
